This policy covers the Better Agent website, account services, and iOS and Android operator app. The app lets workspace members review support conversations, reply to visitors, resolve conversations, and manage their account and notification preferences.
Who handles your information
Better Agent is operated by GUSE LTDA, CNPJ 47.758.713/0001-82. Privacy requests can be sent to the Better Agent contact listed below. When a business uses Better Agent to support its customers, that business controls its customer support data; its own privacy notice also applies to those conversations.
Information collected and why
- Account and sign-in information: your name, email address, password credential, verification status, session records, and account timestamps enable registration, authentication, recovery, and access control. Session records can include IP address and browser or device user-agent information.
- Profile and workspace information: your name, timezone, workspace memberships, roles, and onboarding choices support your account and team access. The mobile profile editor currently saves name and timezone.
- Support conversations: messages, replies, conversation identifiers, timestamps, status, assignment, and agent details allow the service to display your inbox and coordinate human and AI support. Conversations may contain personal information supplied by visitors or workspace members.
- Notifications: if you enable notifications, the service registers a push token, platform, app version, locale, timezone, and workspace association to deliver alerts. Notification choices, quiet hours, and delivery records are stored to respect preferences and troubleshoot delivery.
- Website and service operation: hosting and security services process network and request information to serve pages, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. Website cookie choices and theme preferences are stored locally. If configured, analytics and marketing tools follow the website's cookie-consent choices.
- Information you send for support or privacy requests: your contact details and request contents are used to respond, verify the request, and handle the issue.
Information required to create an account or authenticate is necessary to provide account access. Notification permission is optional; denying it does not prevent you from using the inbox.
AI processing and workspace access
When an AI agent responds, relevant messages and configured knowledge can be sent to an AI model provider. The service supports OpenAI and OpenRouter routes; the provider and model depend on the workspace configuration. Use only information you are authorized to share, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
Workspace members with the appropriate access can see their workspace's conversations. Better Agent handles this content to provide the workspace's service. Contact the business operating the support channel if your request concerns its customer records.
Service providers and disclosure
The native app includes Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring for usage analytics and diagnostics. Depending on the enabled SDK settings, these services can process app/device information, installation identifiers, crash traces, and performance information. Release builds enable Crashlytics collection. Collection settings and applicable user choices must be finalized before this policy is published. Google's Firebase privacy information describes its data processing and retention for these services.
Service providers process information needed for hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, diagnostics, and AI responses. The website uses Cloudflare. Optional mobile push delivery uses Expo and the Apple or Google notification infrastructure. These services receive the data needed to perform their function.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to investigate misuse and protect the service or its users. The final provider inventory, processing arrangements, and storage locations must be confirmed before this draft is published.
Cookies and information on your device
The website stores cookie-consent choices and preferences. Its cookie settings let you choose optional analytics and marketing categories. The mobile app stores credentials in the operating system's protected credential storage and keeps preferences locally. Its durable sign-in session also uses the native cookie store. Signing out clears local authentication and requests server-side session sign-out.
Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your server-side account or workspace conversations. See account and data deletion.
Retention and deletion
Account, workspace, and conversation records are kept to operate the service. There is currently no confirmed automatic expiration schedule for these records. Specific retention periods for account data, messages, push registrations, diagnostic records, and backups are being finalized before launch.
Deletion requests must cover associated account data and relevant copies held by service providers. Shared workspace information and records that must be retained for a specific legal or security reason need separate handling. The final deletion procedure will explain any retained categories, reasons, and retention periods. This draft does not promise a deletion deadline that has not been implemented.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can edit supported profile fields, change notification preferences, revoke notification permission in device settings, and manage website cookie choices. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and contact your local data-protection authority.
Where applicable, the purposes above rely on providing the requested service, protecting its security, meeting legal obligations, or consent for optional processing. The applicable legal bases and international-transfer safeguards are awaiting confirmation by the operator.
See privacy rights and request information. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder without asking for a password or verification code.
Security, updates, and contact
The service uses authenticated access and HTTPS endpoints. No system offers absolute security. See the security information for the measures supported by the current implementation.
This policy will be updated when the service or its processing changes. The date above identifies this version.
